| Turning 30 can be harder for some than for others. For me, it was a really good reason to get out and party. For my younger sister, she had planned a whole weekend of fun with family and friends in Dublin. But she's always been a bit funny about getting older, and late one night, after we had asked the DJ in a pub to say Happy Birthday to her over the mic (just those 2 words you note - no mention of Happy 30th Birthday...), and this sent her dissolving into floods of tears. Now, this may well have been slightly fuelled by one Baby Guinness too many, and she soon recovered and enjoyed the rest of her weekend, got loads of lovely 30th birthday presents, and came home with a full suitcase and some thoroughly good memories - but for some people, hitting the end of their twenties is mildly traumatic!
